Don Tracy is a native Texan and has resided in Cedar Park for the last nine years. He is serving his first term on the Cedar Park City Council and is an active member of New Hope First Baptist Church.

Don attended Texas A&M University and graduated in 1992 with a BA in Political Science. After completing his undergraduate studies, he attended Georgetown University and earned an MA in Russian Area Studies in 1995.

For over 13 years, Don has worked in Central Texas as a workforce education and human resource management professional, where he has led collaborative, state-wide, skills development initiatives focused on training workers in the high-growth, high-opportunity, industry clusters. He holds national certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources.
